George Pusser
President

George Pusser, owner and President of CORNERSTONE was born in Utah. At the age of four, his family moved to Southern Alabama. He attended Livingston State College and majored in Business. During his teenage years, he worked for a pallet company learning to master heavy woodworking machines, while working on multiple renovation projects. He also worked with a framing crew for one year. George honed his carpentry skills working on 130' steel haul scallop boat, finishing all galleys and officers quarters. In the early 80's, George owned and operated a high-end residential construction company in Dallas, TX. During the next seven years, he completed many Turn of the Century homes in Park Cities, Dallas while acquiring rental properties, spec homes, and subdivisions. In 1992, George partnered to form CORNERSTONE Contracting Corporation, which he has been running successfully for the past 23 years.

Wendy Blume
Director of Project Management

Wendy grew up in Greenwich, CT. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Colby-Sawyer College, New London, NH. Wendy began her career with Cornerstone in 1993, having worked previously for a local spec home builder, as well as coming from a background in real estate. Wendy started with Cornerstone in the site trailers on job sites doing administrative work for various projects, but was soon promoted to Assistant Project Manager. In 2007 she advanced to Senior Project Management, managing both current and past projects. Wendy also manages Cornerstone's finances and home office, along with its staff of twenty employees. To say the least, Wendy is the “Cornerstone” of Cornerstone.

Jerry Pusser
Senior Project Manager

Jerry was raised in Arlington, Texas and was working in construction in a family owned business at the age of twelve. He attended Missouri Southern State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Associates in Law Enforcement. He studied Human Resource Development and Industrial Safety at Pittsburgh State University (Post Graduate). While attending college he worked during the summers in construction for several companies in Greenwich, CT. He was in Law Enforcement for nine years before accepting a full time position with Cornerstone in 2000. He has served as Project Manager, Construction Manager and is currently Senior Manager on various projects. Jerry is in charge of Human Resources, client maintenance, and is Cornerstone's permit expediter. He is OSHA, scaffolding, lead abatement certified, and oversees safety management.

Chuck Williams
Senior Project Manager

Chuck started working in construction while in high school, framing houses. He attended the University of Kentucky, School of Architecture and graduated in 1970. His interest in design and construction led him to design and build his own work in Kentucky during the 70's. He worked in Oregon in the 80's on larger institutional projects. In 1986 he moved to New York, working for firms in the city. He joined Cornerstone in 1993 as their in-house architect. His training and interest has always been oriented to fine, world class architecture and construction. Chuck worked with Cornerstone until 1996 at which time he started his own specification consulting firm. He spent the next 12 years developing specification software for the architectural/engineering professions. After selling this business he returned to Cornerstone in 2011 as their chief estimator and senior project manager. Chuck brings a lifetime of design and construction experience to Cornerstone. His in depth knowledge of both architecture, specification writing, contract documents, scheduling, and construction brings a special value to the team of Owner, Architect and Contractor for any project.

Agostino Miele
Senior Project Manager

Agostino (“Augie”) was raised in a family of builders and craftsmen in Westchester County, New York, were he worked hands on alongside his father and grandfather from a young age. They specialized in custom home building and masonry. He attended Iona College in New Rochelle, New York and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He continued to work in the family's home building business until 2000, when in October he accepted a position with Cornerstone Contracting. He has served as Project Manager as well as Construction Manager on various projects. The firm's work reflected a broad variety of architectural styles, ranging from Arts and Crafts, and Tudor Stone and Timber, to Contemporary and Modern, all with the latest home features including smart house lighting and audio integrated systems. With his 29 years of home building experience and continued passion for his work he will always be ready for the next project challenge.
